February Classes Feb 7 6-9 pm Beginning Sewing pm $40 -
Are you interested in learning to sew but do not own a machine yet? Maybe you don't want to buy one until you try it and see
if you will like it? Do you have a machine and have NO IDEA how to use it? If you just answered YES to any of those questions,
then this class is for you! This is a basic sewing class, very beginner. You will learn how to use a machine, and sew a straight
line, even complete a project! I also offer a project pack for $10.00. This will include everything you need to participate
in the class. Feb 16 6-9 pm
Sewing Techniques $65.00 This class is geared for the one who is comfortable with their machine. Things that are covered
include: buttonholes, buttons, (yes sewing on buttons with your machine) zippers, blind hems, hemming blue jeans, elastic,
making spaghetti straps, and a few other things. Also if there is a technique you are curious about, you can ask to have it
shown to you. Please mention it ahead of time if possible. Supply List zipper foot, buttonhole
foot, zigzag foot, blind hem foot 1 regular zipper,
any size or color 1 pair of jeans to hem 1/2 in wide elastic, practice fabric, all purpose thread, pins etc. Feb 18 4-6:30 Saturday Kids beginning Sewing $40- This is the same class I offer
in the evening, but just for the younger crowd. starting at age 11 and up if they have a real interest in learning to sew
I would love to teach them!
Feb 21 Learn to read a pattern ! 6-7 pm $12.00
Have you wanted to make something from a pattern, but couldn't figure out how to buy the right amount of
fabric? Maybe you couldn't figure out what size you needed, or what type of material you should or shouldn't buy. This class
is going to anwer all those questions and many more! Bring your pen and note pad, your pattern if you already have one and
prepare to have the mystery of the pattern solved!
February 23,28 Sewing I 6-9 pm
$65. - This class requires confident knowledge of your sewing machine. You will learn to make a skirt.
There will be minimal homework. Pattern used for this class is Simplicity 2137. Click link below for more information on this
pattern! All supplies and pattern must be purchased PRIOR to class. Call or email me with any questions.

All classes offered here are a first come basis, seating is limited. Cash is the accepted method of payment for classes. There is no refund if you do
not attend, however if you have to miss and can let me know ahead of time, I will be glad to place you in the next class available.
You will receive a supply list the day you sign up for the class, so it is a good idea to sign up several days in advance
to allow time to gather all the supplies you need!

Beginning Sewing Class Supply List Project: Colorful throw pillow
- 4
fat quarters or fabric squares (these are pre-cut fabric pieces measuring
18 x 22 inches
and can be found in the quilting dept of fabric stores) the fabric can either be all the same or coordinate. All 4 pieces
are used for 1 pillow.
- 1 small bag poly fil.
- point turner (we have these if you cannot find one)
- all
purpose sewing thread
- straight pins, pin cushion, small scissors
Please note, there is no cutting fabric in this class, so it is very important that
you buy the pre-cut fabric squares for the project. No satin or flannel for this project,
cotton or cotton/poly only. Jo-Ann Fabrics has a big wall of these pre cut fabric squares.
If you have ANY questions please call and ask before you purchase your supplies. This is a fun class and if you
bring the correct supplies, you will enjoy your sewing experience!
